What are the Programs?

NH Healthy Kids offers three programs for uninsured children in New Hampshire. These programs are designed to encourage the use of preventive care services and offer a broad range of benefits.

Healthy Kids Gold

Healthy Kids Gold is free health and dental coverage for children. Under Healthy Kids Gold, your child will receive care from doctors, dentists and health care providers who contract with the NH Department of Health and Human Services.

Healthy Kids Silver

Healthy Kids Silver is low-cost coverage for children provided through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Northeast Delta Dental. Your child must be uninsured for six months prior to enrollment. This requirement may be waived for good cause reasons such as involuntary job loss. Monthly premiums are $32 or $54 per child and are based on your income and family size.

Healthy Kids Buy-In

Healthy Kids Buy-In is health & dental coverage for children provided through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Northeast Delta Dental. Your child must be uninsured for three months prior to enrollment. This requirement may be waived for good cause reasons such as involuntary job loss. Monthly premiums are $237 per child.

Medical Coverage for Pregnant Women

Medical Coverage for Pregnant Women is free health and dental coverage for pregnant women 19 and older. Under this program, pregnant women receive care from doctors, dentists and health care providers who contract with the NH Department of Health and Human Services.
