Resources for School Nurses and Social Workers

Schools are the number one way that kids and teens are referred to NH Healthy Kids. Below you'll find a variety of information and resources designed to help you in your work with uninsured kids. Having a hard time finding what you need?

Outreach to Schools

To support our school partners, each year in the fall we focus our outreach efforts on helping school nurses and social workers be aware of the available resources. We have designed a School Toolkit that contains information about the NH Healthy Kids program, including how to help families to apply for coverage, tips for working with uninsured families and resources for application assistance.

To make the most of the School Toolkit, you are encouraged to participate in a 'walk-through' in the format of your choice.

LIVE WEBINAR
Register for a live webinar. We’ll review the School Toolkit, highlighting important program updates and tips for working with uninsured students. You'll need a copy of the Toolkit to follow along. Print the Toolkit or request to have one mailed to you in advance.

PRE-RECORDED WEBINAR

Watch our pre-recorded school webinar. Please note that, while you will be able to watch the webinar at the time of your choosing, you will not be able to ask questions using this format. You will need a copy of the Toolkit to follow along. Print the Toolkit or request to have one mailed to you.

THROUGH THE MAIL

If you’d simply like us to mail you a Toolkit, provide us with your shipping information. We’ll follow up by phone or email to answer any questions you may have.

IN PERSON VISIT

a Field Coordinator to visit your school (or your community). Or just let us know if you want us to simply come by in person when we’re in your community.
