If your child has been determined eligible for one of the Healthy Kids programs and has not yet enrolled, please read more about each program's steps for enrollment.

Healthy Kids Gold

If your child qualifies for Healthy Kids Gold, he/she is automatically enrolled. Coverage could start as early as the date we received your application.

If your child has been enrolled in Healthy Kids Gold before, please use the Gold cards you already have. If you have misplaced your cards, please call 1-877-464-2447 ext. 249 to leave a message to request a new card.

If your child has not been enrolled in Healthy Kids Gold before, you will receive his/her Gold card within 10 business days from the date of determination.

Healthy Kids Silver

If your child qualifies for Healthy Kids Silver, he/she is not automatically enrolled. To enroll your child in this program, you must do these three things:

  1. Complete your enrollment form by selecting a Primary Care Provider (known as a PCP) for each child. A list of PCPs can be found in your Member Handbook. Please write the PCP ID number of the provider you select on your enrollment form.
  2. Pay your first month’s premium.
  3. Send us your completed enrollment form and payment by the last day of the month.

Healthy Kids Buy-In

If your child qualifies for Healthy Kids Buy-In, he/she is not automatically enrolled. To enroll your child in this program, you must do these four things:

  1. Complete your enrollment form by selecting a Primary Care Provider (known as a PCP) for each child. A list of PCPs can be found in your Member Handbook. Please write the PCP ID number of the provider you select on your enrollment form.
  2. Pay your first month’s premium.
  3. Sign and date the Buy-In Payment Policy.
  4. Send us your completed enrollment form, payment and signed Buy-In Payment Policy by the last day of the month.

Common Questions — Healthy Kids Silver & Buy-In Enrollment

How do I select a doctor for my child?

In your Member Handbook, you will find a listing of Primary Care Providers (PCP). On your enrollment form, write in the name and PCP ID number of the doctor you choose to be your child’s PCP.

Can my child continue to see his/her current doctor?

Yes, your child can continue to see his/her doctor if that doctor is listed in the Member Handbook. If your child’s doctor is not listed in the Member Handbook, you may need to select a new doctor. Please visit www.harvardpilgrim.org/healthykids or call 1-800-542-1499 for a complete list of PCPs available.

How do I make my first payment?

Mail your check or money order with your enrollment form to:

Payment can also be made in person by bringing a check, money order or cash to our office.

When will my child’s coverage begin?

Once your child is determined eligible for Healthy Kids Silver or Buy-In, we will send you an enrollment form. If we receive your enrollment form and first payment by the last business day of the month, your child’s coverage will begin on the first day of the next month. For example, if we receive your enrollment form and payment by March 31st, coverage will begin on April 1st.
